KIM HAYDEN HOLT | Creative Director
A dynamic mixture of bold shapes, expressive color and a strong graphic sensibility make up the visual language of the Kim Hayden Holt Studio. When graphic and interior design come together, they make a powerful statement that authentically reflects the client’s personality or brand. Whether designing an interior space, creating compelling graphics, or developing custom lifestyle products, the studios’ passion for getting to YES drives the design.
As an Art Director, Kim’s graphic design firm, Unleashed Studio, created music packaging and marketing campaigns for chart-topping musicians Dr. Dre, 2Pac, No Doubt, Bush, Jackson Browne, Brian Setzer, Smash Mouth and more. Her career has taken her from UCLA’s Interior Architecture Program to working as a designer for Kelly Wearstler’s internationally renowned design studio. Additionally, she co-founded the home goods startup brand DGoods.
DESIGN STUDIO INSPIRATION
“Creating an authentic visual story is equal parts observation and curiosity. Inspiration comes from the wide open spaces of Joshua Tree, the rugged coastline of Big Sur, the classic modernism of Palm Springs, the bold geometry of the Bauhausand, of course, pieces with a past – the entire process is beautifully addictive.”
